Been on the 1/50 strength for 5 years now because of polycystic ovaries. The only symptoms I experience are very slight cramps where I never had any before. No bloating, no mood swings, no tenderness. I like this pill.
I have been in zovia for a month. N to me this pill is sucks. The first week I lost 1lb; 2week I lost 1lb again but I had a heavy bleeding. 3week I gain 3lbs and seems I stared this pill I dnt wanna have sex, Im in a bad moon all the time.having nausea, breast tender, n strong clamps. I'm going back to trinessa which is a great pill,
I'm on my third month of Zovia. I've had HEAVY bleeding, with large clots. The first time it lasted 2.5 weeks, with a week of cramps so painful I couldn't get out of bed. This time around it was not as painful, but still extremely heavy bleeding. Still have a sex drive, and doesn't make me nauseous at all. Have not gained any weight, but haven't lost any either. Hopefully the bleeding gets better, because other than that I'm happy with this pill.
Have only been on this pill 2weeks and having bloating, spotting, and wt gain. Wondering if I should wait it out.
This is such a great birth control, I can't believe all the bad reviews! I was on it for about two years and lost at least 80 pounds. I never felt healthier. I missed pills and never got pregnant. My mood was irratic and I thought it was due to the birth control, so I quit it. I continued having unprotected sex. I didn't become pregnant until about 3 months off the pill. After cominb off zovia, I have gained all my weight plus more back and I feel terribl. I can't wait to be back on it!
I've been on Zovia for a little over a year and I think I'm done with it. I was put on it in order to help space out my periods in order to avoid the awful cramps I experience. I'm in my 20s so I've been on a few different pills before. I liked that Zovia did a rather good job of keeping my skin clear. But my biggest issue that is making me stop is unfortunately also the sex drive. It's causing a lot of problems between my fiancé and I. And as stated before, I'm definitely attracted to my fiancé and I just have a ZERO interest in having sex... SO WHO NEEDS BIRTH CONTROL IF YOU DON'T WANT TO SLEEP WITH ANYONE ANYWAY?!
I have been on the Zovie 1/35 E for a little over 3 months AND I CAN'T WAIT TO GET OFF OF IT!! I have become extremely irritable, anxious and nervous. I am always worried and I don't feel myself at all. I have definitely gained weight and it will not shed off even though I work out 1.5 hours a day and am on a scheduled meal plan. I have developed chin and forehead acne. I do not recommend this pill at all.
I have been taking this pill for 8 years. When I was 16, my doctor found cysts on my ovaries and prescribed Zovia. My cysts are gone, I haven't gained or lost weight, and I have have short, light periods. The one side effect that is killing me (and my fiance) is that I have basically NO sex drive. I obviously want to have sex with him, but my body is not on the same page as my mind. I am thinking about switching, but I love the fact that everything else is wonderful. (And no babies!)
I was on zovia for about six months, pros: gained a full cup size without much tenderness, cleared my acne, periods were light to nonexistant. cons: bloating, weight gain, and lowered sex drive. My doc switched me to a pill with less estrogen to hopefully help with the weight gain and bloating.
Initially, Zovia cleared my skin completely. After 3 years, I developed a wretched case of cystic acne on my jaw and neck. I
Ive been taking this pill continuously for one month as per my doctor for PCOS and endometriosis. First week I felt full of energy, about 10 years younger and back to the old me. After that I have been spotting, cramping, acne breakouts and having breast tenderness. On week four now and still have spotting and breast tenderness. Im trying to hang in there and hope the symptoms stop soon or Ill have to try another pill.
Although it does its job and periods are light and regular, i have gained 10 lbs, am always tired, dizzy, have headaches, extremely lowered sex drive and under the skin acne (didnt used to get too much of this before), i will be switching off this
This pill was so-so. It was my first and I was on it for a while, and it's so.. average. It's not wow in any department, except that it doesn't get you pregnant.
I have only been on this birth control for a month, but despite what my Npr says, I will NOT "suffer through" the next 2 months to see if the S.Effects fade. These S.E's are AWFUL! Before Zovia, I took Yasmin for a year until I developed side effects--with this the S.E. are instant and worse!! I am SO TIRED all of the time on this, if I don't sleep 11 hours I need a nap! I take the pill in the evening with my dinner and wake up gagging every night around 3am. I have never felt more nauseated. I have developed forehead acne, something I've never had in my life. I am dizzy and out of it, too. I can't wait until this week ends so I can get the heck off of this pill and wake up!
